Services

At Desernity, we work with the client from start to finish by incorporating their ideas and innovations through our work. Throughout the entire duration of the project, we are in constant communication to ensure the best service is produced, by keeping an open understanding of the current work status and efforts.

Specifically for website design, we generally have eight major phases within the process lifecycle:

Phase 0 – Preliminary Introduction: Provide the client with a better understanding of our company, including information regarding the teams’ qualifications, portfolio, business structure and the services we can offer the client.

Phase 1 – Statement of Work: Create a business plan and agreement with the client for a complete understanding of our business arrangement (budgets, high level needs, resources, communication plan, timeline, etc.).

Phase 2 – Voice of Customer: After a contract is agreed upon, we work with the client to understand the voice of the client (specific needs, requirements, and priorities).

Phase 3 – Design: Our next steps are to plan the colors, layout, logo, and content. We work with our clients to follow proper design and technical techniques that fit their vision.

Phase 4 – Prototypes: Once we receive the foundational knowledge for the future site, we begin to deliver a series of drafts for the clients review allowing us to determine the best business technology for the product or service.

Phase 5 – Deliver First Edition: Once we can finalize our ideas from the drafts, we create our first edition of the site. Depending on the needs and speed to value, we will promote the first edition to production (live).

Phase 6 – Create Fine Tuning/Advanced Features: Fine tuning and more advanced features will be added at this stage (i.e. e-commerce (if needed), enhanced search engine optimization, advanced coding requirements, compatibilities with different browsers (other than the latest Fire Fox and Internet Explorer builds, etc.).

Phase 7 – Final Edition (if advanced features were created): Once a final edition is agreed upon, we move that version into production and fully introduce and market the site to the public.

Phase 8 (if applicable) – Continuous Improvements: Although version 1 of the site is completed, maintenance to the site content and design improvements will be needed as the client’s business grows and changes. During this phase, we provide ongoing support for the client Maintenance agreements will be discussed during Phase 5 or Phase 7.
